Continuing Education Credits (CECs) at CMPX 2026
CMPX 2026 offers attendees the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) through a wide range of educational sessions taking place March 25–27, 2026.
Eligible Sessions
All Learning Sessions and Workshops are eligible for CECs. Sessions must:
Focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, building codes, energy efficiency, or industry best practices.
Are delivered by recognized instructors or subject matter experts.
Are at least 30 minutes in duration.
Do not include sales or promotional content.
How Attendance Is Tracked
Attendance is recorded through the official CMPX badge scanning system:
Scan your badge when entering the session
Some sessions may also require a scan-out
Attendees must be present for at least 80% of the session
If scanning is not available, a manual backup process will be used by staff
IMPORTANT! Badges must be scanned by an attendant at each session to verify attendance; certificates will only be issued for verified sessions.
Earning Credits
You will earn 1 CEC = 1 hour of instructional time, or ½ CEC = 30 minutes of instructional time.
Credits are automatically calculated based on your recorded attendance.
There is no limit to the number of credits you may earn.
